RHEA has an impressive track record in EO missions. Our first project was to define the payload processing system for the MTP missions in EUMETSAT. Since then RHEA has been developing systems and providing the services of specialised scientists and engineers for almost every EO mission in Europe.
RHEA’s highly skilled and knowledgeable experts are able to bring vast experience to a project and have access to a large network of specialists, as a result of their depth of experience gained through supporting EO missions at ESTEC, EUMETSAT, ESRIN and ESOC. RHEA’s contribution to EO missions includes ERS-2, Envisat, MTP, MSG, Metop, CryoSat-2, GOCE, ADM-Aeolus, SMOS, Pleiades, Cosmo-SkyMed, TerraSAR-X and TerraSAR-L. More recently RHEA has engineers working on GMES, SWARM and SEOSAT.
RHEA’s compentencies in EO range from instrument specialists such as Microwave, Optical, Radar and SAR Engineers, to AIT Engineers and Ground Segment Engineers. In fact, RHEA has engineers working in every phase of the mission, including post-launch support.
