MOIS

MOIS Reporter

MOIS Reporter performs both pre-defined and customised queries over any sub-set of the procedure Library and the latest spacecraft database(s).

This is a powerful tool able to provide reports and statistics for the mission. Update queries can be enabled by an Administrator when global updates to the procedure Library are necessary.

A pre-defined and perhaps the most useful query performs complete consistency checking of procedures against the satellite database(s). This is a crucial function to use when a database has been updated as it will identify any procedures which have now become inconsistent due to those database changes and therefore need to be updated. For example, the addition or removal of command parameters or the alteration of a parameter range set so that  a parameter value in a procedure goes out of its allowable range.

MOIS Reporter supports the creation of problem reports. In this way the co-ordination and traceability of problems within the project is maintained throughout the project lifecycle, and centralised to allow all users access to the provided data.

MOIS Reporter integrates problem reporting with the items in the MOIS Library to which the problem relates.

Reports mapped to customised queries can be scheduled to be generated at regular intervals.

Queries and reports can also be contstructed to provide management overviews – such as the proportion of the spacecraft database exercised by a set of SVT procedures and, when used with the MOIS Executor, the test results and the related anomaly (problem) reports.
