We are currently looking for a Project Controller to join our team based in our offices in Belgium.

Tasks and Activities

The scope of work will include:

  • Being responsible for compiling and quality assuring the monthly, milestone and ad-hoc project/service execution reporting to the Clients.
  • Liaising with the technical staff for their timely inputs.
  • Completing all required financial reporting, and collecting required supporting documents.
  • Ensuring reports are accurate, detailed and meet the contracts requirements.
  • On time delivery.
  • Completing internal Budget Documents, follows up on set-up in the Company’s ERP system.
  • Supervising the Project/Service execution Management Process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of invoices, tracking of expenses, and associated internal reporting.
  • Supervising the Time Management Process for the contracts as due by the Project/Service Manager in charge, incl. monitoring on-time submission of timesheets, tracking of working days, approved exceptions, absence monitoring.
  • Working closely with Finance, completing the financial monitoring of the contracts, highlighting possible risks and areas for improvement, while ensuring accurate actual-status and future forecast per each project and service.
  • Monitoring the internal and client KPIs
  • Assisting in the kick-off of new contracts, integrating the delivery and reporting requirements into the monthly planning and ensuring the engineering & operations teams, and the accountable project/service manager, are aware of the contractual requirements.
  • Participating and supporting in Contract review meetings internally and with the clients.
  • Tracking contract paperwork with Corporate Services contracts and finance team.
  • Providing Bid support, as required.

Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • University degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Engineering.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a finance, Admin or project control environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent skills in MS EXCEL and numerical reasoning.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Capability to build trust and show inspiring leadership based on strong indirect management skills.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Understand and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Excellent ability to work with remote teams, especially within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, another European Language would be an advantage.
