We are currently looking for several Security Engineer to support the GOVSATCOM security activities. This position is based in Prague, Czech Republic.

The European GNSS Agency (GSA) is responsible for operations, service provision, security and market development for the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) EGNOS and Galileo. By creating a new generation of GNSS, Europe is laying the foundation for the development of new high-tech industry, leading to job creation and economic growth. These flagship European space programmes, which embody what can be achieved when Europe works together, are already bringing real benefits to people and business in Europe and around the world.

Tasks and Activities

The scope of work will include:

  • Support to the definition, review and update the GOVSATCOM security policies and processes.
  • Support to the preparation, review and update of the technical security documentation related to GOVSATCOM.
  • Support to production and maintenance of Analyses about Threat and Security Risks to the GOVSATCOM Programme.
  • Support to the analysis of GOVSATCOM Security Service Provision aspects (e.g. dual-use), by drafting and reviewing security-related technical notes including business impact analysis, continuity and contingencies plans, audit plan, threat analysis, etc.
  • Technical support for the handling of security aspects related to coordination and Support to stakeholders, including meetings (e.g. task forces, expert groups…).

Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant technical domain.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working performing the above tasks mentioned.
  • Experience in SATCOM and particularly in security related activities.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Organised, dynamic and proactive.
  • In possession of security clearance at EU Secret level.
  • Ability to travel on missions when needed to other locations.
