Amrit – IT Support Analyst
Amrit is based at RHEA’s headquarters in Wavre, Belgium.
He joined the company in 2019 as junior IT Support and has since been promoted to IT Support Analyst.
What did you study and why?
Information Technology because the subject offers a variety of career paths and is always in demand.
What does your job involve?
Providing first, second and third level IT support to all RHEA Group employees across the 11 different countries.
What is your favourite aspect of your job?
Delivering personalized service which allows me to work closely with executives as well as with Business Unit Managers. This is significant for my career growth and experience.
What makes you want to get up for work each morning?
New challenges and self-appreciation.
How does your role make a difference to the success of the company?
A support analyst is the mirror of the company. Since an analyst is the first point of contact for all service providers and end-users, they must be service-minded and be a positive communicator. This reflects the standards of the company and its reputation, consequently attracting more clients and end-users.
What made you want to work in the space sector?
Working in the space sector is extremely challenging. This sector is established on the latest technology and engineering systems. As an IT professional, it brings in excitement and facilitates constant interest in work.
By rewarding and promoting its people, and by providing opportunities to learn and grow, RHEA’s values are front and centre.
What are your aspirations for the future?
With all the skills that I currently have in IT, I aspire to learn more about cybersecurity. I am currently pursuing a cybersecurity degree, to gain a wide variety of skills that can strategically help the company move forward. I would like to stay with RHEA for a long period of time, to learn everything I can.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Outside of my professional life, I am a musician. I love playing guitar and producing my music.

I have a green belt in Shito-ryu karate-do.
