RHEA manages cyberattacks from the city of Gatineau
Securing critical infrastructure
Cybersecurity is like a cat and mouse game. On one side of the screen, the hacker tries to bypass hardware and software protections and, on the other side, a trained engineer protects the integrity of the system. In both cases, they are more numerous and better organized.
There are millions of cyberattacks taking place every month and each threat must be analyzed and qualified to measure its impact. RHEA Group has been working in this field for 28 years and, since last November, has set up a new SOC in downtown Gatineau. The new cyber threat management center is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. RHEA is already deploying such a center in Redu in Belgium and a third one will open soon in the Czech Republic.
Until recently, cybersecurity was a matter of the defense sector. Now, society has evolved, causing critical civilian infrastructure and personal data to be more vulnerable to malicious attacks. Our job is to safeguard the integrity of that data.
