Our security projects
From fostering multinational collaboration in cyber defence to protecting space systems and operations, our security experts work to advance the most ground-breaking security projects.

Supporting companies to determine the business impact of cyber-risk
Cyber-risk is more complex and potentially dangerous than traditional risk, and this is forcing insurance companies and their clients to find a reliable approach to cybersecurity. Today’s cyber-risk assessment method, which is mainly qualitative and not technical enough, is falling short on completely mitigating cyber-threat.
The reality is that mitigating cyber-risk requires a deep technical diagnostic, linked to realistic and quantitative business impact analysis. AON, the global insurance broker company, and RHEA Group, have partnered up to enable companies to evaluate and manage cyber-risk. Integrated teams from both companies are assessing and quantifying the risk associated with complex IT infrastructures using the Starlings Soar tool, a non-invasive diagnostic system developed by RHEA Group. Aon’s expertise in insurance and risk assessment is complemented by RHEA Group’s technical background on cybersecurity.

Leading the First Cyber-Range for Space Systems and Operations
RHEA Group is leading the first cybersecurity-range project for space systems and operations at the European Space Agency Centre in Redu, Belgium. Dynamics include:
- Delivering a specialized space-assets cyber-emulation environment.
- Actively training experts in the field of cybersecurity.
- Securing space assets research, development, and testing.
- Developing secure software engineering practices for ESA.

Supporting the Development of the First Cyber Information and Incident Coordination System
The Cyber Information and Incident Coordination System (CIICS) is a multinational initiative that establishes a common space in which NATO and its member nations can work on specific incidents together in almost real-time. RHEA Group developed the CIICS program, providing NATO nations with a unique collaborative information sharing approach to cyber defense and cybersecurity incident task management capabilities. Moreover, our experts provide support to the nations, creating enhancements to continually upgrade the software and counteract any security issues.
CIICS is currently integrated in Canada, the Netherlands, and Romania, with prospects for deployment in other NATO nations and partner nations this year.

Delivering a Strategic Departmental Security Plan for the Supreme Court of Canada
RHEA Group is developing a strategic Departmental Security Plan (DSP), according to the requirements of the Treasury Board Secretariat of Canada. Facets include:
- Synthesis, compartmentalization, and consolidation of security threat and risk information.
- Identifying security priorities, initiatives, issues, gaps, and concerns.
- Delivering a security plan and developing recommendations and key performance indicators.
