Orchestrating the success of space missions
Optimize the processes involved in mission operations, from the manufacturing to the monitoring and control of the spacecraft. MOIS7 introduces automation to the complex operation processes so you can focus on ensuring the success of the mission.
Orchestrating and Supporting Every Phase of the Space Mission Lifecycle
Developing and automating mission procedures have never been this easy. MOIS7 supports every phase of the space mission lifecycle, from assembly, integration, and validation to mission operations’ preparation, execution, and automation.
Because no two missions are the same, we offer you three packages with a variety of services tailored to the operational needs of each mission.
The First Landing of a Space Probe on a Comet
Rosetta has achieved what no other mission had achieved before: the landing of a space probe on a comet. MOIS introduced an automation system to the mission, improving the overall consistency of routine operations and giving operators more time for higher-level supervision and analysis.
Europe’s Own Global Navigation Satellite System
Galileo is set to deliver unprecedented real-time positioning accuracy, navigation, and timing services to users around the world. The fully deployed Galileo system will consist of 24 operational satellites, with full service is expected by 2020. MOIS is contributing to the flight control procedures of the mission, including exporting automation.
Ensuring Access to Time-Critical Data around the World
The European Data Relay System (EDRS) will dramatically improve access to more urgent and potentially life-saving coverage from space than ever before. MOIS has provided operation and preparation facilities to DLR’s Operations Center (GSOC), and has participated in the LST Instrument testing and operations at Tesat Spacecom.
